Asia Cup 2023 Team India Squad Announcement: Pacer Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer have been named in the team.

India’s Squad Announcement, Asia Cup 2023, Highlights: Indian cricket team’s squad for Asia Cup 2023 has been announced. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer made their returns from injury. On the other hand, all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been appointed as skipper Rohit Sharma’s deputy. Mumbai Indians star batter Tilak Varma has also been included in the team after his heroics in the T20Is against West Indies. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav has found himself a place in the squad while Yuzvendra Chahal has not been included. Wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson has been added as a back-up wicketkeeper.

India Squad for Asia Cup Live: India’s match against Pakistan

The Asia Cup 2023 will kick-start from August 30, co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Co-hosts Pakistan will be squaring off against Nepal in the opening match of the tournament. Team India will be facing the arch-rivals Pakistan in their campaign opener on September 2 in Kandy.
